- An opportunity for new, established and soon to retire teachers to share and gain experiences from a larger community across the UK and beyond.
- Benefits peripatetic and private school/studio teachers, full or part time.
- Certificate of Completion should accreditation or payment claim be required from your School or Music Service.
- Sessions are delivered live through a Zoom link sent after registration.

Statistics show a consistent increase of mental health issues experienced by students, teachers and musicians alike. Revealing the seeds of a mental health pandemic that instrumental music teachers are by no way immune to, how might the tools and skills of our privileged work make a more positive impact on the wellbeing of our students and ourselves.
Practise your Wellness will give you the tools to optimise the quality of your presence, offering you more joy, vitality and consciousness in that unique gift you offer to your students as vocal and instrumental music teachers. Your wellness is supported by a balanced, wholistic system of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Topics including food choices, exercise, meditation, mindfulness, creativity, time management and admin efficiency, you will learn vital, easy to apply options and tools that will support a greater flow in your wellness and its contributing experiences to your teaching day. Building on your effective music teaching practice, we will also be assessing how some external, progression expectations only test the capacity of our students wellbeing, where as other processes will support an internalised nurturing of inspiration, creativity and confidence in your students as a platform for their wellbeing to flow.
